Julie Davis is a kind, loving wife and young mother. The people around her admire her, and the children’s stories that Julie writes and draws become instant bestsellers. However, something disturbs Julie, disturbing thoughts linger and eat from inside, gradually depriving the girl of vitality. Based on the book of the same name by Amy Kopelman, the film explores the causes of postpartum depression and the ways in which it can be overcome.
